INDO LIVESTOCK Expo & Forum - Indonesia’s No.1 International Livestock and Feed Industry Show will return to Jakarta at the Jakarta Convention Center from 8-10 July 2010. Hosted by the Directorate General of Livestock Services-Ministry of Agriculture, INDO LIVESTOCK Expo & Forum has grown into one of the region's premier feed, livestock and meat processing industry as 9,000 trade visitors and delegates, representing integrators, veterinarians, farmers, feed millers, processors, retailers, importers and distributors from across Indonesia are expected to attend the Expo, Conference and Technology Symposiums are expected to join over 350 exhibitors and government officials to network, develop partnerships and do business.
Our record shows that overseas buyers from 19 countries visited Indo Livestock Expo in 2008. Indonesia will continue to be a key growth market for livestock and feed production as demand for meat protein continues to rise in line with improved GDP per capital. More importantly, the livestock production industry are under going structural change from traditional small scale backyard farming to large integrated farming utilizing technology to improve efficiency and bio-security. This has created huge demand for modern farming systems, improved breeding and animal nutrition and health products. The downstream meat processing sector has also witness strong growth driven by domestic demand and exports.
