REMEDY is a rock band that was founded in 1994 in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Over time this group has changed members frequently. In 2006 they released their first album, titled " Menangis Untukmu " ( Crying For You). This album was produced by Remz Record which is owned by Remedy itself and also 601 Record as partner, and distributed by P.T. Musica Studio. After one year of complications and difficulties among the members, Ome, the drummer, took control of the band and reshuffled the band members. After a lot of hard work finishing their second album with the new image, Remedy intends to flourish in the Indonesian music scene. Remedy plans to stick with the same genre but with a style of rock that makes them unique with in Indonesia. And now they are going worldwide
The dream is to enrich Rock N Roll Music all around the world and write an eternal Rock Song to be remembered and most of all to color up the world with Rock N Roll spirit.
Moreover, REMEDY believes that Rock N Roll Spirit is Family, Friends and Fans. That is why REMEDY always tries to give their best to them. The coexistence of a band depends on them. To establish a Rock N Roll genre in Indonesian music Industry is rather difficult since this genre doesn't get much attention from Public. But REMEDY still exist in one and other way. This is because of their strong consistency in their Ideal that is Rock N Roll is a soul not a genre.
The personnel's background also came varies music disciplines. The guitar trio consists an Alternative Rock, Blues, and Modern Rock while Progressive Rock character dominate the vocals, blend with Funky Tone Bass with Powerful Rock beat Drum makes REMEDY a distinguished Rock N Roll Band.
